The Psychology Internship program is the heart of Primary Care Psychology Associates, and we would not be who we are without it! All of our staff have some role in our training program, and many of our current clinicians were previously in training with us. We take our role in your education and training with utmost seriousness and look forward to meeting you!
The Psychology Internship program at Primary Care Psychology Associates is accredited by the American Psychological Association, effective 3/29/2016, with its next site visit scheduled for 2023. We were one of the first private practice psychotherapy groups in the country to achieve an APA accreditation status for our internship program. Our program provides robust theoretical and clinical training via multiple weekly and bi-weekly seminars, along with individual and group supervision, consultation with healthcare providers in the community and exposure to variety of patient populations and situations. Our aim is to assist our interns towards becoming the best in our field!
