Eleanor “Ellie” Deveaux, M.A. (she/her) is a Psychology Intern in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Care Psychology Associates specializing in working with children, adolescents and their families. She is in her 5th and final year of doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at William James College in Newton, MA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College, and a master’s degree in professional psychology from William James College.
Ellie brings a rich background in providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults across diverse clinical environments, including academic medical centers, community clinics, and private practice settings. She has experience providing individual, family and group therapy, and maintains a deep commitment to fostering resilience and healing in those she serves.
Her areas of clinical focus include integrated behavioral health, mood and anxiety disorders, learning and developmental differences, and issues related to identity, including care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Ellie is particularly passionate about creating affirming spaces for individuals navigating the intersections of trauma, mental health, and identity.
Ellie’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity and respect. Drawing on relational, humanistic, psychodynamic, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) frameworks, she supports clients in understanding their emotional experiences, building on their strengths, and working toward meaningful personal growth.
