Dr. Arielle N. Flint, Ph.D. (she/her) is a psychotherapist specializing in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Care Psychology Associates. She provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to children, adolescents, and their families. She earned her doctorate from Illinois State University, where she trained in schools and clinics treating children with behavioral, mental health, and academic concerns, as well as supporting autistic children in developing social and life skills. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD
Dr. Flint has experience supporting children with a range of behavioral challenges and provides families with a foundation for collaborative, solution-focused care. Dr. Flint's work centers on empowering parents by creating a space where their voices are heard and valued. She has extensive experience working with children and families across diverse settings, addressing concerns related to developmental delays, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, and academic performance. Dr. Flint provides strengths-based therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT). She also specializes in and is certified in behavioral parent management training for those with children aged 10 and under. Dr Flint's social justice journey has shaped a culturally responsive approach grounded in empathy, humility, and respect for individual lived experiences.
