Anna Stephens, M.A. (she/her) is a Psychology Intern specializing in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Care Psychology Associates. Anna is currently in the final year of her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Clinical Psychology and Philosophy from The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
Anna has extensive experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments and providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and their families across various settings. Her training sites have included private practice, therapeutic day school, and university hospital. Anna’s clinical interests include mood and anxiety-related concerns, learning and developmental disabilities, attachment and interpersonal difficulties, and coping with chronic pain and illness.
Anna utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Humanistic, and Adlerian therapies to best align with each patient’s unique concerns, needs, and goals. Anna is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive space where her patients feel safe, understood, and empowered. She works collaboratively with families to foster emotional insight, resilience, and healthy development.
