Lena Mueller, MA is a Psychology Intern at Primary Care Psychology Associates, specializing in working with adults.
She is currently completing the final year of her doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. Lena holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Chicago and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
Lena has experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments and providing psychotherapy to children and adults in a private practice and in a hospital setting. She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, along with Humanistic, Adlerian, and psychodynamic theory in her work with patients. Her primary areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders along with OCD, autism spectrum disorder, and health related concerns.
Lena works to meet her patients where they are and utilizes an empathetic and understanding approach to help each patient on their healing journey. Lena encourages and nurtures insight, self-reflection, and growth with her patients in a way that aligns with their presenting goals. Lena hopes to create a warm, open, empathetic therapy space for all of her patients.
