Michelle Barichello, MA is a Psychology Intern at Primary Care Psychology Associates, LLC. She is currently in the final year of her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler University and is completing an emphasis in Traumatic Stress Psychology. Michelle has worked with patients across a variety of settings, including community mental health, private practice, and hospitals.
Michelle is an empathic, warm, and collaborative therapist who believes in the inherent worth and unique strengths of every patient. She integrates a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to best match each patient’s needs, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral and humanistic approaches. Michelle believes it is important to both assist patients in addressing issues in their life that they would like to move away from (e.g. symptoms, stressors), while also identifying what they are looking to move towards (e.g. values, aspirations, life goals). She feels honored to join her patients on their unique journey to healing, meaning, and empowerment.
