Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship/Primary Care-Behavioral Health Residency:The AAPIC accredited internship experience includes working in a collaborative setting with Primary Care Physicians, Pediatricians, Dermatologists, Physician’s Assistants, Medical Assistants, and Nurses. Integration of services is under the philosophy of the Patient Centered Medical Home where many services are available to patients under one roof. Clinical Externship (Practica) in Primary Care Behavioral Health:
Primary Care Psychology Associates offers Externship Practica to qualified doctoral students from accredited graduate schools. Students will have an enriched experience working with Primary Care Psychologists, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Behavioral Health Residents. PCPA is available for qualified applicants in our Diagnostic, Therapy, and Advanced Practica. Current available experiences are in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, and Addiction Medicine. Other experiences will include traditional diagnostic testing and counseling. It should be noted that the experience with PCPA is an integrative experience covering all facets of clinical psychology.
